Blog Post: The Paradox of the Novel-in-Stories
"I only seem to be interested in trying to write things I don’t know how to write. The hope is that, by the end of whatever project I’m working on, I will have figured it out while also having learned something new. But sometimes even if the project comes out all right, I end up no wiser than before. That’s what it’s been like working in the weird form known as the novel-in-stories."
